Versatile: alone, layers, at the gym
This tank has so much flexibility: it's classy enough to be worn alone, minimal enough that it can be worn under something, and athletic enough that it can be worn to the gym or as a running top.
The material is a bit strange. It's a described as "Nylon/spandex/polymetallic," whatever that means. It's definitely not cotton, but it's not like the nylon or spandex you know either. It's hard to describe, really. The texture is ribbed and it has a slight shine to it, but the finish is not reflective.
This top definitely fits snugly, so that might make it a bit dicey to wear alone. But in summer months, I don't see it being trashy if worn in casual settings with shorts or a very casual skirt.
As another reviewer said, this tank is a bit short and might creep up on you during the day. If you wear it as a layer, be sure to tuck it in good and secure with a belt to avoid having to make mid-day adjustments.

a little disappointed
The fit of this shirt is perfect aside from length....I'm very petite and the shirt tends to be too short and it creeps up throughout the day making it a little uncomfortable. The quality is great otherwise.

stays in place
you can't go wrong with this light weight control tank! It doesn't feel like you have it on yet it control so well. Stays in place, no binding or bunching. great for revealing tops, give it a layered look.
