These tees are sewn with nylon or polyester thread to which I'm severely allergic. I had to remove this right away as it scratched & left red marks down my arms. The fabric itself is not very soft at all for cotton. I suspect it might be coated with some chemical finish. I also didn't care for the plasticized tag in the bag (it's printed on & I don't want plastic chemicals rubbing against my skin, I want a tag that I can cut off easily). I bought the size L which is my normal size and the body fit ok (form fitting in the chest) but the sleeves are very tight. Not good! I bought a white and a navy and both had the same problem. Also when they say "deep navy" they're not kidding: it's extremely dark, almost black. I look great in navy, but not in this shade. For the plus: I like the crew neck and the fact that the sleeves are long. Everything else was a deal breaker for me but you might like it if you're not sensitive to scratchy tight seams against your skin.

Rated 3 out of 5Â by pempem00 Sleeves are too snug
I ordered a large because I like the chest and abdomen to be roomy and they are. The problem is, the sleeves are very tight. You would think the designers would know that a large woman would also have large arms (and I'm not that big, size 10) but the sleeves are totally out of proportion to the size of the chest and abdomen. Other than the sleeves, the shirt is a great fit and comfortable and you can't beat the price. The cotton is nice and soft and the shirt is not too short but I'm 5'2" so what do I know. It may be short on taller women.

Rated 2 out of 5Â by ptte Too large (even small size)
Bought small size, the neck opening is nice, but the shoulders are very wide and the torso part very large, too, though the sleeves' width is good (but too long). Like the styles of the neck and sleeves (unlike the usual cheap T shirts). The fabric is not soft-feeling.

Rated 2 out of 5Â by Anonymous Troubling changes in sizing and quality
In addition to this style, I ordered some "featherweights" in extra small, and they were truly extra small --- only about 30 inches at the chest. But THESE, oh dear, the opposite problem. With no extra small available , I ordered size SMALL. And in fact, if sizing was standard across models, that would have been fine. I have ordered this top, or a very similar precursor style, in the past in the "small" size, and have been very pleased. The prior version was fitted at the waist (trim but not binding), right (for me at least) at the shoulder, in sleeve length, and also at the bust. The fabric was a sturdy but soft cotton knit. This version, produced in a different country, which fact may or may not pertain to the issues at hand, is cut from a coarser cotton fabric. It has lost any pretensions of a fitted waist: if anything, it now is wider at the waist than just below the sleeve (ie the chest). The waist (the WAIST !!) is a full 36 inches (or 18 inches measured flat) !!!! This is at least 6 inches larger than the former version !!!!. It is also about 1 1/2 inches wider from neck to shoulder seam than the prior version -- which means 3 plus inches total. As someone else commented, the sleeves are also longer -- at least an inch as I recall. If the original version fit you, this assuredly will NOT. ARGGH. It used to be just what I needed -- soft, simple and well fitted, terrific with jeans or under a suit with pearls. NOT now. Okay for working in the garden I guess, but for that I reserve my old, worn out clothes.
