I have been a runner for 7 years now and have tried several different bras over the years in an ongoing search for a sports bra (I wear a 34B) that provides both support and comfort while I run. Although these aren't advertised as a sports bra, this summer I began running in Bandinis and have been hooked! I wear a single for runs under 10 miles and double up for longer runs and have run with straps up and with straps down. I've used other supportive bras but they often times will dig in at spots and become uncomfortable the longer the run. Bandinis however are just as comfortable at mile 5 as they are at mile 20. I had been wondering though if these could go longer and still provide ideal comfort and support so I tested them this past weekend at Superior 50, a 52.1 mile trail race on the Superior Hiking Trail in Minnesota which is considered one of the toughest ultramarathons in the country. I will never wear another sports bra again!! I had no digging, no shifting, and was fully supported the entire day (and this race took me almost 14.5 hours to finish!). The humidity was fierce this weekend and I was drenched in sweat. Thanks to the material of the Bandini, I never felt hot and "trapped" in my bra like others I've worn. Best of all when it was all over, I had no struggle at all taking them off, very much unlike other sport bras that are practically torture to get off. The only downside to this bra I have found is that due to the angle of the strap the material digs into my sides in the area between the armpit and my breast creating an unwanted bulge. This is not at all uncomfortable but I'm not a fan of how it looks when going shirtless while running on hot days. You absolutely cannot beat the price of the Bandini compared to your typical cost of $50+ for a quality sports bra. Overall, this is my NUMBER ONE GO-TO SPORTS BRA.

I got these for my yoga class because they looked comfortable, and they are! Now I want to wear them everyday!

I bought the large just hoping that I might be able to wear this bra.
I'm 38DD with spinal injuries and I can't wear back hooks or thin band bras. I've been having to wear racerback bras since the early 90's and I thought I would just take a chance and see what happened.
I wear A-shirts around the house all of the time, including out in the yard doing work. But living in FL with the heat and humidity and bras just don't mix! But I'm too big and too old (gravity) to go out in public without a bra on. And those built in shelf bras are a joke!
So, I bought a (L) large. I've had it on for about an hour now.
So far, the band is staying down. The straps are a little thin and the underarm cuts a little.
As for the "lift and separate" ain't going to happen, not in this bra!!! But I'm not getting a real uniboob look either. It does flatten me a little. But once I got myself adjusted, things seem to stay in place.
I put my tank top back on and looked in the mirror and what I see is firmly held breasts, but not totally flattened.
So far, the back is good, too. If it doesn't ride up, I'll be alright there.
I might have been okay with a larger size. I'm not sure. For the price, I might just go ahead and get a larger size to try it. It sure couldn't hurt anything.
But for the Large that I bought, it is definitely more comfortable than some of the short strapped sport bras I've tried in the past.

These bras are very comfortable and love the colors they come in! I am small & this bra tends to flatten but didn't expect it to do much anyway or enhance. It does seem to support but not sure if it would for bigger chests. Great at home bra or sleeping bra for those who need it. Love the different ways you can wear it!
