Hanes Classics Men's Briefs with Comfort Flex® Waistband 6-Pack
Inconsistent fit and quality
After wearing Hanes briefs for over 50 years, I was very disappointed by the quality of my latest purchase. Out of 18 pair, only a few fit properly. Some had leg holes that were too big with minimal elastic, some had a fly that stayed open, and others had the seam in the rear of the waistband overlap so there was a lump. I've even tried exchanging packages and have found the same circumstances. I thought after upgrading from the cheaper Hanes briefs to the classics, I would find much better quality control. I will continue to try to find a style and size that satisfies my requirements.

Leg holes need better support
At first, we bought the Hanes less expensive pack and the quality was very poor (material thin, leg holes large, and size ran very big). Because we like cotton and the Hanes brand, we tried again. Must admit that we're still a little bit disappointed. The material on these was much improved (soft and better quality). The size was a bit better but the leg holes were still very loose with no form. Have to say that Hanes usually does a very good job with the fit, but they have really missed the mark with the new design of the basic tighty whitey. Please improve fit in leg holes.

Great fit, smooth and confortable. Could do without the many displays of the name Hanes around the waist band. Like to have the underware rather plain.

A disappointing product after many good years
I've worn Hanes underwear for probably 50 years. It was always a "no-brainer" to pick up another package of Hanes underwear, knowing that I would always get something that would fit and last for a long time......
Not so with the ComfortFlex.:
1) waist band is now about 1/4 " narrower than they used to be. It may not sound like much, but with ME, the new waistband rolls up on itself into a tight little tube, which is not at all comfortable;
2) the fit is not the same; I don't get the support that I used to get from the old style Hanes;
3) the material seems to be thinner and of lesser quality; I doubt that these will last more than a year.
Well let me take some of number 3 back...they probably WILL last longer than a year, because I'm not going to wear them that often....they'll be my back-up underwear. My "underwear of choice" will be some 6-year old Hane's Select briefs, and some 4-year old briefs that I bought on a whim from one of the big membership stores. They still fit more comfortably after all these years than these new ones.
