Love These Ribbed Tanks
These ribbed tanks may not be great to wear alone (too thin), but they are great in winter if you want an additional thin layer underneath all of your other layers. They're not thermal, but they do add a slight bit of additional insulation without being bulky. Also, I like to wear them under a white or light-colored blouse that may be slightly see through. The cotton feels great against my skin.

Horrible
I believe I got the same colors as the original reviewer. Dark pink, light pink, and orange. I figured if I chose the colored assortment they wouldn't be sheer. Boy, was I wrong!
You can see everything you intended to cover. The stitching on the shoulder seam is bulky, and unflattering. Each has the texture of an old washcloth that air dried: rigid, ruff, and stretched out.
These tanks cannot be worn alone, together, or ever for that matter. Lets call these what they really are: TOPLESS TANKS.
Ladies, if we wanted we could do that for free. Just shimmy on down the street in nothing.

A companion top
The fabric on these is quite thin, so they are not meant to be worn by themselves. Any bra you wear will shine through, so you'll need to be adventurous enough to go without one (!), or use these only as undershirts.
I tried white, but the thinness of the fabric left them without a place in my wardrobe. I don't have many uses for undershirts, and I'm not comfortable with wearing a white one of these under a cardigan sweater. The assorted colors pack I got is orange, light pink, and a red which borders on a dark pink. Those are kinda hard to mate with anything.
A pack of all black might be just right, though. Let's hope we see it.
