I am glad to hear someone else say that when they re-purchased it wasn't the same material. They are made cheaper and thinner and I am disappointed !

Rated 1 out of 5Â by carpetlady cheaply made product , what happened?
I am very unhappy with the quality of the fabric , it is much thinner material now, also, the elastic band is very small compared to how they were made before. What happened ? I will not ever purchase Hanes again !

Ok, let me first start off by saying that I love Hane's products. That is the only brand that my family buys period. They are cut much better than another name brand that is just ugh! Now for the disappointment(s)... About a year ago, I purchased 2 Packs of the Sporty Hipsters, size 9. They fit really well upon opening the package, so I threw them in the washer.
After drying, I was dismayed to fit that 2 pair had come unstitched at the leg openings, 1 of them by almost an inch. I thought no biggie and grabbed a needle and quickly sewed them up. After wearing a pair for several hours, I found that the leg openings had stretched enough to ride all the way up, I could have been wearing hi cuts, constantly had to pull and adjust them. I didnt think I could get a refund at the store because i had already washed them, so I ate that cost. Replaced them for briefs- no problems.
Skip forward to today, I have lost weight and needed new panties. I bought this style stretch hipster size 8. No problems for 2 washes and once again on the 3rd wash 1 came out unsewn along waistband and 1 pair was unsewn along the crotch seam.
Hanes, I love you, but I am soooo tired of wasting my hard earned money on your sub- standard panties. I will be switching to another brand.
I doubt this gets published under reviews because of the negativity. I read the reviews for the sport hipsters and I know that I can't be the only one with this problem. :

Rated 3 out of 5Â by hbs13 Patterned fabrics are terrible
The solid colors are great, but the patterns are terrible. I bought a package from a Hanes outlet that had 2 solid colors and 1 leopard-type pattern, only because I couldn't find one with all solid colors. The patterned fabric was extremely rough. I could feel each stroke of paint applied to the fabric, like it was sitting on top of the fabric. I ended up throwing the patterned panty away.
The reason I like these panties is because the solid-colored panties are made of a very soft material, and the comfortsoft waistband is wrapped and soft feeling. The patterned panty is completely the opposite and defeats the purpose of my buying these panties. If you're going to sell panties made with loud, gaudy, patterned fabrics, at the very least make the fabrics smooth to the touch...
Please make packages that come in all solid colors, preferably pastels or all white.
