"New & Improved" Sizing is a Joke
Like others, I have been buying JMS briefs for over 20 years, and have found the "latest edition" to be a waste of money. I wear the size 14, and have always found the package sizing info useless because it is geared to dress size instead of hip size. But they always were of good quality until my last two orders. First, they quit making the "full" cotton brief (as opposed to the low cut jeans version). Now they have "improved" the sizing by making it smaller. Now I have to fight to get into the brief, and even then it rides down and becomes a nuisance. Further, in a 5-pack I had to throw away 3 because they fell apart in one washing. The waistband is now 2 inches NARROWER than the previous version in the same size. I am now shopping for a source for new panties. JMS just lost a long-term customer in me! Until you go back to the quality and sizing you used to have, I am outa here.

disappointed
I have been buying JMS briefs for 20 years and they have recently went way down hill. I have bought two five packs recently that do not fit. I have been buying the same size for ever. I compared them to an old pair and they were two inches smaller around the waist... What a waste of money... I have already washed them so do not feel that I can return them... I am very disappointed.. Mary

Poor Quality
The last time I purchased JMS underwear was a few years ago and I remember them being so soft and comfortable. In fact I still have a few pairs from then and compared them to my new ones and there is no comparison. The new style runs way too small, very rough material (almost like wearing twill) and they fall down. I was really upset because I cannot wear them and I will never shop with JMS again. Their bras were going down hill a few years ago and now their underwear, it is really sad to see a company sell such a low rent product. I have been a customer of JMS since my teens, but now I will stick with paying a higher price from a specialty store if that means a great fit, soft material and they will stay up.

Runs very small another "New" Coke disaster!
Like others I've bought the briefs for YEARS. First they started to get smaller leg openings and the waistband was cheaper but that was ok - could live with that. Next came the CLOWN colors (polka dots, garish colors). Now they are running like 2 sizes smaller with reeeeally cheap feeling fabric! I even took pictures of the difference. That was BEFORE they were washed. I had to give them to my sister. It's "nice" of them to tell us to buy a size larger... doesn't help if you are a 13 or 14 already.
It doesn't take a brainiac to figure out they "restructured" them to account for the severe degrade in quality. Not sure that the size measurements on the package are even really valid any more. Guess like Subway we're not getting the whole "foot". ;)
Anyway I won't buy these anymore so off to find a new source of undies... bummer.
and just for the record - if it was just to accommodate a new style fit why didn't you mark it on the package to forwarn customers or better yet create a new "low rise contoured brief" style rather than change what was already a good selling product (even if they had to raise the price).
I wish you'd go back to the old style, quit the clown colors, and make some all black packages. I don't think they could drive away more customers if they tried.....
