Hanes Relaxed Fit Women's ComfortSoft® V-neck T-Shirt
Runs very small, sleeves are skimpy
I've ordered these in the past, using my regular size, but they were too small. They are smaller than standard sizes & they shrink, so the last time I ordered them, I went up 2 sizes because I wanted a loose-fitting tee shirt to wear to exercise class. The new ones fit comfortably in the body, but the sleeves are poorly made. They are very skimpy in the armpit, much shorter than standard tee shirts. In a size 3X (I usually wear an XL), there's only about 1 inch of material beween the armpit seam and the end of the sleeve. So, when I lift my arms, the whole side of the shirt raises up. This isn't good, since I bought these for exercise.
Since the shirts are 100% cotton, they will shrink, even if washed in cold water an dried on low. So, order at least 1 size larger, maybe 2 sizes. I won't order these again.

I love these shirts!
Best t-shirts I have. I have about 7 different colors to wear with just about anything.

a very casual t shirt
I read ALL the reviews and bought mediums, although I have always worn a small or an xs in t shirts. I am 5'2" 120 lbs. I am small shouldered and average size chest. The shirts were huge when I got them. I washed and dried them twice before I tried them on. I wanted to make sure it would shrink as much as it was going to. It now fits like a very comfortable small. It is not a tapered shirt. It is boxy. but for casual wear, which is why I bought it, it is perfect. The v is a modest depth, which was so nice. no need to worry about exposure. it is also not see through. It is a little bit scratchy, but not unbearable. With wear, that will get better. cotton softens as it is washed. The ash and pink were larger than the white and the deep navy ran the smallest, though it was still roomy on me, and needs to shrink in the wash. All in all, I am satisfied with the shirts. They are inexpensive, and very functional.
