I am returning 2 pair of these pants because the legs were over 6 inches too long and the pants are too tight around the tummy. Made for a very athletic, young woman over 6 feet tall not for a short, fatter woman. Really would love to have to sweatpants in white that would fit me. I can not get white anywhere else that I have found.

I purchased 4 EcoSmart cotton-rich women's drawstring sweatpants (in different colors). They wash and fit perfectly. They are comfortable and true to size. Believe it or not, I dressed up with each of the black, navy and brown and never felt out of place. I would recommend these 'great'sweatpants!

The older version of this pant had much better quality of fabric. The cut is now shaped and not just a basic sweat pant. The waist sits lower like "fashion" pants and the legs are shaped and cut narrower with the bottoms flared. I hate these pants. Sorry I bought them. Disappointed a classic is no longer a classic.

I bought these a few months ago as my main lounging pant. I purchased enough pairs to wear each once or twice a month.
After just a few washes on warm and drying on warm, they shrunk 2-3 inches in the length. If you're taller than 5 feet five, you will be wearing "highwaters". Perhaps washing on cold and line drying would eliminate this...but who wants to line dry sweats?
The elastic also twisted inside the waistband and it's not easily straightened. It needs to be sewn to keep it from flipping. It is nice and wide however, and doesn't flip once it's laying flat against my waist. The flipping occurs in the wash, apparently.
The worst part of these pants for me is the pilling between the thighs. If you have thighs that rub even slightly, expect BIG pilling. I have to use one of those fabric shavers a couple of times during the day to keep it to a minimum.
Overall, the fabric is soft and warm (68 degree indoor temp.) and the color selection is great. I love the drawstring, too. So I gave these a "fair" rating instead of "poor".
Wishing Hanes would purchase better cotton for these. A longer fiber cotton would help a lot to keep the fabric pill-free. A brand of cotton that starts with Sup comes to mind!
