Rated 3 out of 5 by One fell apart... I bought a bunch of these and they have held up well through multiple washes, with one exception - one of them had the stitching underneath one of the arms come completely undone. Not okay. The stitching inside the shirts seems a little sloppy as well. Overall, they are worth the very low price. February 23, 2014
Rated 3 out of 5 by not bad but nothing exciting adding 10% polyester to a 90% cotton shirt gives you a more expensive cotton shirt. Its okay to wear around the house but in the heat it just holds sweat like a cotton shirt weighting you down. if there is any "moisture wicking" i sure didnt notice it. stick with 100 % poly if you want wicking and you will be much happier. Rated 1 out of 5 by Itches even after washes! My mother has been interested in the X-Temp t-shirts since we live in Arizona, and finally took the chance to buy a three-pack at a nearby store. Like all clothes, I washed them with the usual Tide & Clorox2 that I use, and hung it up to dry. It seemed to control the sweat while she was out a few days later doing errands but not keep her really comfortable, but when she came inside the cool house, she started to itch badly. She clawed her back, left red streaks with her nails and even made herself bleed in a couple of places. Irritated, she swore not to wear them again and told me to donate them or give them away, whatever. Looking over the details, I can't figure out what's causing this reaction with her, she's never had problem with cotton/polyester mixtures before. My best advise if you want to give these shirts a try is to wash them separate and give them a trial run, and keep the receipt in case it doesn't work out for you either. She claims the clothing washed with the shirts also make her itch, but I think it's just wearing anything but thin, light material are going to irritate the scratch marks until they heal a bit.
