Hanes Men's TAGLESS® No Ride Up Briefs with ComfortSoft® Waistband 6-Pack is rated 3.6721 out of 5 by 61.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from The best, but the best is not what it once was. I ordered a set of these same briefs about 3 years ago and have been wearing them daily since. I have never had such a comfortable, truly luscious set of underwear. After 3 years of weekly laundering, they grew softer and softer and even more wonderful, but they also began to wear out and fall apart, as is natural. So now that I'm down to just 1 pair, I ordered a new set. And the cotton in these new ones is simply not as good. The padded waistband has far more elastic content and is not nearly as comfortable. I guess Hanes had to cut costs, but unfortunately, they also cut their quality.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not all cotton "•Cotton that's specially fabricated to be ultra soft". That's what the description said at the time of my order. Thinking its 100% cotton I ordered 3 packs. When I received them all the gray and charcoal colors (6 out of 15) were only 75% cotton and 25% polyester and marked as such. I just clicked on the detailed description and yes they do specify it there. As for quality, I purchase the same item a few years ago and they seem to be made softer with slightly heavier material and all of them 100% cotton. Hanes, please bring back the quality and material of this item as you had a few years ago.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Ruined a good product Why do manufacturers always think they can take something that people love (as evidenced by website reviews all over the internet) and cheapen them thinking no one will notice or they will make more money? These underwear were favorites and now they are terrible. I won't even go into the reasons since anyone can do an internet search and find out that Hanes has made a terrible business decision. Once again, find something you like and you better buy a lot of it because manufacturers will eventually quit making it or reduce the quality.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor Quality I have used Hanes as long as I can remember, which is probably 50 years. The last two packages of briefs were the tagless ComfortSoft waistbands and none of them lasted 6 months. Today I put on my last new pair and the waistband unraveled on the first day. The guarantee isn't worth collecting after paying shipping. I never say never, but I will not buy anymore Hanes products. I guess the old saying that everything comes to an end is true, as Hanes quality has definitely come to an end, and so has my patronage. I will no longer recommend your products.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Why did they add the iron-on label in the back ? Been wearing these for years. Very comfortable great fit and no irritating tag in the back. I'd love to give them an excellent rating except ... About a year ago some genius decided to add a washing and care label (legal or marketing guy I'm sure) that is applied with some kind of a thermal transfer. The problem is after a few wash and dry cycles (likely caused by the heat of the dryer) the individual letters on this label begin to lift and it feels like 60 grit sandpaper in the small of your back. They are impossible to wear without a T-shirt tucked in as separation. Tried using a fabric shaver to remove the label but it destroys the fabric. I've simply started to throw them away. There is nothing worse than uncomfortable shorts, I'd rather have a rock in my shoe. This was a fantastic product prior to this change. How can we get this resolved before I run out of underwear ?

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not the product I'm used to! This underwear is so scratchy my husband took it off after five minutes! Not only is it inferior cotton, but it's very thin. At least 50% less thin than usual. Compared to the same Hanes underwear purchased almost two years ago, it's a completely different product. I expected the usual soft, thick cotton. But that's not what this is! We were both very disappointed.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Product is not what it once was I agree with other reviews, these new items are a very poor product. Very thin and very scratchy waistband, the exact part why this model was so good to begin with. The good ones I still have had a red vertical style logo as shown in the catalog pics, these poor rags I recently received have a horizontal black print-style logo. Terrible.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor material A have bought this item before and have been very happy with overall quality and comfort, however the shipment I recently received was very poor quality material. The material is thin, rough and scratchy, even after washing. Same name, but not the same product as previously purchased.
